Frequently asked questions
What conditions does Breakthrough Mental Health treat?
We treat 18 mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and schizophrenia — in person in Long Beach and by telehealth across California.
What if I'm not sure which condition fits what I'm feeling?
You don't need a diagnosis to reach out. A psychiatric evaluation is designed to clarify what you're experiencing and guide the right next step — just call or request an appointment.
Do you treat children as well as adults?
Yes. We see children (6–17), adults, and elders (65+). If someone's needs fall outside what we treat, we'll say so honestly and help point you toward the right care.
